Diesel climbs for third consecutive week, up 4.3 cents to $2.904

The weekly on-highway U.S. diesel average rose $0.043 a gallon to $2.904 per gallon, according to the Energy Information Administration.
The price was up $0.859 from one year ago.
The New England region stood alone as the only region to drop in price this week. It was down $0.003 per gallon to $3.015 a gallon.
The least expensive diesel was found this week in the Midwest at $2.871 per gallon and the Gulf Coast region at $2.873. Topping the chart was the Central Atlantic region at $3.37 per gallon. California’s price was $3.057
